Pilot Cutter Regatta

The 2011 Pilot Cutter Regatta was another resounding success with eleven cutters competing inthe various races. There was plenty of wind, and plenty of rain, at times, making the racing fast and exciting. The evenings alongside were a great opportunity for all to exchange yarns and go over the day's events. Four Working Sail boats managed to make it for the weekend, Agnes, Hesper, Amelie Rose, and Eve of St Mawes. The little Eve did valiantly well with her new set of sails, proudly holding her own against all the big boys. The newly built Edith Grey came in first at the end of the weekend with her owner/ skipper/builder John Raymond Barker at the helm.
