Our latest vessel now under construction is the 44' Tallulah, due to be launched in May 2008. Her construction is of sawn oak frames, oak topside planking, with larch planking under the waterline, and bronze fastened throughout.

Her design takes the best from Lizzie May's and Ezra's features, and with a relatively light hull displacement, long fan-tail counter, slightly raked bow and lean underwater body, she will be the most elegant cutter to date. Her slimmed down rig will make her a very handy and easily driven vessel. Designed for two, she will have more emphasis on comfort with a large saloon and galley. On deck she remains as traditional as ever, with tiller thwart and barrel windlass.

Tallulah will be owned by a couple who plan to keep her on the south coast of England near Chichester from where they intend to cruise to Brittany, Ireland and beyond.
